Down by the river in Laughlin Nevada

Here ye, here ye, Janine has found an incredible bargain of her own down here in Laughlin, Nevada. Get a load of this deal: Even though we're only staying overnight after the trip to the Grand Canyon, I am really looking forward to seeing what Laughlin has to offer - more on this later....

Our last Aloha.

It will be a sad, sad day when we reach this stage of our trip, this is our final countdown and it means we will be going home after this stay. Again, the ever-resourceful Glenda has found a bargain hotel to behold. We are spending the last two days of our trip at the Aston Pacific Monarch Hotel in Waikiki, separate rooms this time, so we can debrief on what we have both been up to since our time together in Las Vegas when the Fraser's headed East and we headed West. I think Glenda and I will have to indulge in a farewell cocktail or two or three by the pool to reflect on this wonderful adventure we have all had. But in the meantime its still 65 days to go - Yippee!!!

Surf's Up - Honolulu ahead!!!

Aloha!!!! We have finally settled on our accommodation for BOTH our stays in Honolulu. Glenda and I have been the intrepid Travel inspectors and believe that we are wasted in our present jobs!!!

We have decided on the Ohana Outrigger East Hotel for 11 - 14 May where the wonderful Glenda using her skills of persuasion has secured a 2 bedroom suite for us all to stay in together!!! Oh what fun this will be, all we need to do when we get there is toss the coin to see who gets the room with the King bed or the room with two Doubles - frankly my dear I don't give a damn which room, so long as we all have a bed to sleep in.

We have stayed here before on a previous trip and its a nice central location only a couple of blocks from the beach, so Waikiki here we come.
