COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS NOW

Oh boy, its now about 2 1/2 weeks till we go - and I am loving this stage of the journey - anticipation is the best!! Completed the last of our bookings this week.
In San Francisco we are staying at a place called Archstone South Market an executive 1 bedroom apartment within walking distance to Union Square. I have been researching for a few weeks on the net for accommodation and this looks great, large apartment and self catering which we prefer. Here's a picture of it. Only 19 Days to go!!!!

Alcatraz

I have also booked our Alcatraz Tour - fascinating place, I visited with mum 20 years ago, and did the tour on my own because the hill was too steep for mum to walk up - so she sat at the dock while I did the self-guided (Walkman) tour; its probably an MP3 tour now! Really looking forward to doing this one!!

San Francisco - Open your Golden Gates

Hey, Today I have booked our activities in SFO - David and I are doing a 5 hour SanFranciso Shuttle Bus Tour - I am really looking forward to seeing SFO, don't know how David will like being a real "tourist" and getting on and off a bus, but I think it will be fantastic - Got to take a picture of the "Full House House" for Megan.
