Hoover Dam

Did a little excursion today to see Hoover Dam which supplies power and water to most of this area - it was interesting to see how far the water level has dropped over the years due to drought here as well.

An architectural feat here - and they are building a road to bypass this area as this is the way to travel to the Grand Canyon as well. Quite amazing.

David finally had THE bet which won!!! So Phil and he are happy campers at the moment!!
